A few days ago, I bought theAcerOne722netbook. AMDDualCoreProcessorwithturboC60Coretechnologyupto1.333GHz. Memory2GBDDR3. Battery6-cellLi–ion. 320 GBof storage. Ihave installedWindowsVista, but the VGA cardis not legible, despite being repeatedlyinstallthe driver providedin abundlepurchase.Apparentlythe driveris not compatible/compatible withthe hardware. Finally, aftergooglingeverywhereandread and readincyberspaceforum, it turns outthe driver providedin thebundlecan not be used/not compatible.
The problem is the screen resolution can not be set to 1366 x 768. Almost desperate, I finally put catalyst_mobility_64-bit_util.exe once completed, it turns out, the software can read / detect hardware (VGA Card) and I’m required to download directly from the server ATI. After completion of download, install, and thank God I’m straight …. VGA card hardware Acer Aspire One 722 netbook to function properly so that resolution can be set at 1366 x 768.
Based onthat experienceIwrotethispostonthissimpleblog.
Stages are as follows:
- Download file–bit_util.exe catalyst_mobility_64(file size of1.140kb)
- Install the file
- Allow it to finish
- At the end, you will be prompted to download a file named 11- 10_mobility_vista_win7_32_dd_ccc_ocl.exe (The size is 65010 kb)
- When finished downloading the file, install the file
- At the end of the installation process, you must restart your system if you really want to set your display resolution at 1366 x 768 desktop.
- Good luck.
